How packs work
Last updated October 21, 2026
Every paid pack is two real seats together, drawn at random from a pool of real listings under the rules on this page. This page is the allocation rule our Terms refer to.
What is in the pool
A pack is built from real ticket listings for its games. An Event Pack has one game. A Team Pack has the team’s remaining regular-season home games with a set date. Every listing in the pool is one option: 2 seats together, with a section and a row.
The pool for your purchase is set when your checkout price is prepared: listings held by other orders and listings whose seats we could not get or deliver for an earlier order are left out first, then the cheaper half is taken, by the cost of the pair. The checkout counts that pool’s seat options by game. The pack page shows the cheaper half of the current listings by level, leaving out listings held by other orders: under “Lower level”, for example, “6 of 12 seats in this pack”. Each item it counts is one option of 2 seats together, so that is 6 of 12 options. Those levels and counts come from current listings, so they can differ from the pool for your purchase.
A pack is on sale only while its pool holds at least 10 options, and sales close 72 hours before the game. The counts you see are at the time shown.
How the draw works
When your payment is confirmed, one option is drawn at random from the options in the pool for your purchase that are not held by another order at that time. Once we record a game as canceled, its options are left out of the draw. Once we record that we could not get or deliver a listing’s seats for an earlier order, that listing is left out of the draw too, even after that order is refunded. Each remaining option counts once. For a Team Pack, each seat option left in the draw counts once, so a game with more seat options is picked more often.
The draw happens on our servers, inside the same step that takes your payment, and it is recorded: the list of options it was drawn from, the one that was drawn, and the options that were left out. Nothing you do on the page changes the result.
We publish counts, not percentages, and we do not put a dollar value on what a pack contains. Exact seats are shown when you open the pack and confirmed through fulfillment.
Opening the pack
Your result is already assigned. Tap any card to show your seats. The opening animation only shows the result of the draw; it does not change it.
After the draw
From the moment of the draw you have 24 hours to keep the tickets or sell the seats back for pack credit. If you do not choose, you keep the tickets. The credit offer is 85% of the pair’s market value at the draw, and never more than the pair’s cost; it is usually less than what you paid. Pack credit goes to your wallet, and you can spend it on packs. Our Terms and Refund Policy set out the full rules. Questions about a draw go to support@seatdraw.com with your order reference.
